On April 9, 2025, the UOSSM team — led by Dr. Monzer H Yazji, President of UOSSM USA, Dr. Zahid Almosri, Executive Director of UOSSM, and Dr. Ibrahim Zakaria, Head of the UOSSM Medical Mission in Syria — proudly opened the first UOSSM PIONEER Primary Healthcare Center in Hama.
In coordination with the Hama Health Directorate, the Director of Primary Healthcare, and our dedicated local support team, this moment marked the beginning of a new and promising chapter in Syria’s road to healthcare recovery.
This medical facility is generously sponsored by Mr. Bassam Barazi of Houston, Texas, and will serve the local community (his hometown) with a full range of essential services:
