Your Gift’s Impact- Fatima’s Road to Recovery

When she was just 10 years old, Fatima was in a horrible accident when her hair got caught in the belt of an electric generator, ripping off her entire scalp from her skull. This caused the young girl excruciating pain and unbelievable distress. Fatima was taken to UOSSM supported Aqrabat Hospital where doctors were able to treat her emergently, thanks to the support of donors like you. The road to recovery has been long and painstaking for both Fatima and her doctors. Soon, Fatima will be entering the third phase of her treatment, which will use new techniques to cover her skull and tissue with special grafts. Fatima’s doctors are optimistic that she will achieve excellent results.

Thanks to your support, Fatima and children like her will now have the chance of a normal life, with dignity.

Only by working together, can we save lives and build hope.
