Since November 2023, UOSSM USA has been delivering medical and humanitarian aid including medical supplies, food baskets, blankets, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, first aid kits, baby formula, and baby diapers.
During the month of Ramadan, additional food baskets and cooked meals were also distributed to the neediest of families.
As part of our ongoing efforts, UOSSM USA, in collaboration with UOSSM Canada, recently launched an advanced wound care medical project, where over 1000 wound vac devices will be delivered to Gaza to help alleviate the suffering of patients in the Gaza Strip. These devices along with medical consumables will be delivered to three different health facilities.
The project aims to contribute to the reduction of health-related morbidities and mortalities of the war-affected population in the Gaza Strip by enhancing the accessibility to quality healthcare services for those most vulnerable and in need.
Through this project, UOSSM USA will contribute to improve the well-being and the resilience in the war-affected communities in Rafah Governorate, Gaza, fostering the mental health conditions of the war-affected populations by providing free-of-charge specialized mental health services, which will alleviate the psychological and social impacts of the crisis.
