UOSSM prepares to begin operating 3 new isolation centers in Areeha, Kafr Takhareem, and Banash in northwest Syria. The centers will provide health care for confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19.
The centers admit patients with minor to moderate cases, providing them with the medical attention they require, while containing the coronavirus, preventing an outbreak which could be catastrophic. Patients with confirmed or suspected cases are sent to the isolation centers from primary and secondary healthcare centers through a coordinated referral network. Patients are transported via vehicles exclusive to COVID-19 patients.
