Food Insecurity

We continue to provide food baskets, and hot, cooked meals to the most vulnerable, displaced families in Gaza.

In Ramadan, we provided cooked Iftar meals and hosted several community Iftars at our Community Kitchen, supporting displaced families ensuring they break their fast with dignity. Thanks to your generosity, we fed over 5000 people in Gaza in Ramadan! 📹 Click here to watch a sweet video from a community Iftar in Ramadan!

Ramadan Orphan Programs

During Ramadan, families of children in the program received food baskets filled with basic essentials to ensure families are able to break the fast with nourishment—preventing malnutrition.

Our team hosted the 182 children—orphans and their siblings, in an Eid celebration. The children had fun and received gifts.

Mental Health – Space of Hope

UOSSM USA launched a project in Jerash Camp for Palestinian refugees aimed at alleviating the suffering from mental health issues, serving children, adolescents, women, and men, providing mental health services, psychosocial support activities, and capacity-building for strengthening community resilience and improving well-being.

The project enhances community resilience, reduces stigma, and strengthens the ability of the camp’s residents and service providers to cope with prolonged psychosocial distress under conditions of chronic displacement and poverty. Since 2025, the project provided MHPSS services to over 2650 people in the community.
